What to Order at a Sushi Restaurant If You Don't Like Sushi

If you're open to trying a roll — just not raw fish — Sushi Brokers has several fully cooked rolls that taste nothing like traditional sushi. They're crispy, rich, and familiar in flavor:

• Shrimp Tempura Roll ($12) — crispy tempura shrimp, krab, avocado, cucumber. Tastes like fried shrimp.
• Damn Good Roll ($19) — tempura shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, sweet chipotle sauce. Rich and mild.
• California Roll ($11) — krab stick, cucumber, avocado. The most basic, mild roll available.
• Crunchy Roll ($19) — tempura shrimp, spicy krab, cucumber, avocado, tempura flakes, eel sauce.

Not ready for a roll or a burger? These starters and sides work as a light meal or something to share while everyone else eats sushi:

• Edamame ($8) — steamed soybeans with salt. Plain, mild, and healthy.
• Potstickers ($10) — chicken and pork dumplings, steamed or pan fried, with sweet chili sauce.
• Krab Rangoons ($9) — crispy wontons with cream cheese, krab, and scallions.
• Calamari ($14) — lightly battered squid with spicy miso dipping sauce.
• Spring Rolls ($10) — seasonal vegetables, crispy wonton, sweet chili sauce.
